On March 9, 2008 we "spring forward" to Daylight Saving Time (DST). Stromberg offers a simple procedure to update your system to DST - Standard Time.
It is a three-step process for updating your clock or terminal to DST/Standard Time.
1. Stromberg Enterprise Time and Attendance must be updated with the change date to DST/Standard Time. Stromberg applications do not adjust computer time. Verify that your system has been set to automatically adjust for DST. Double-click the clock icon located in the lower-right corner of your screen. After the Date and Time Properties window is displayed, click the Time Zone tab and ensure the "Automatically adjust clock for daylight savings changes" checkbox located at the bottom of the window is selected. If it is not selected, click the checkbox to select and click OK. Your computer's time will automatically change when DST changes.
2. Your clock or terminal must be prepared to receive the update back to Standard Time. Refer to the following for information on specific clocks for this step.
...for Stromberg Enterprise Customers using the Cyber Series Terminals
...for Stromberg Enterprise Customers using the TM3000 or TM2000 Series Terminals:
...for Stromberg TimeManager Customers using the ST (CMI) Series clocks:

3. Ensure that you have downloaded and installed the Daylight Saving Time patch from the Microsoft website. The installation of this patch ensures that Windows will properly handle time changes related to Daylight Saving Time.
