Stromberg Enterprise is a complete time and attendance solution for mid-to–large sized businesses. Stromberg Enterprise is an intuitive system that allows supervisors to manage employees’ time and attendance with accuracy, calculate job and labor data to control expenses, and prepare timely payrolls with unmatched reliability.
Our solution allows the management of employee time from punch-in to paycheck. Explore the many features of Stromberg Enterprise Time and Attendance.
The Stromberg time card management process starts whenever you click on an employee’s name. Clicking on any punch allows you to edit that punch. Other icons along the toolbar allow for employee benefit look-up, exception review, schedule display, punch listing, a convenient toggle to go between the current pay period and previous pay periods, and a button to add or review comments that have been attached to the time card.
The Exception History feature allows system users to easily track exceptions and employee compliance to policies over long periods of time. Exceptions include early or tardy arrivals, late departures, long shifts, long meals, missed punches, and frequent absences. As employees use the system, the program collects the exceptions defined within the payroll rule assigned to each employee.
The Exception History feature enables users to quickly identify unfavorable trends. At any time, supervisors can request a “snapshot” of exceptions by employee in a calendar format that shows the number and type of exceptions recorded by the system.
Time History allows system operators access to archived time cards and hourly data at the end of each pay period. This gives you the ability to perform detailed analysis of historical data, identify cost and staffing trends, and plan accordingly for the future.
In today’s time-sensitive environment, successful employers require powerful technology to not only gather accurate employee data, but provide it in the shortest time possible and be able to examine the data in multiple ways to help better manage your business. Stromberg Enterprise embraces this philosophy with an essential reference tool known simply as Reports. These intuitive documents provide a complete overview of employee statistics from badge listings to overtime calculations. As a result, supervisors can retrieve vital employee statistics and even gather ad hoc reports, literally, at the click of a button.
There are over 50 standard reports within Stromberg Enterprise. Once the time and attendance data is collected and stored on the server, the software can process the information and generate the following reports:
In order for the system to correctly implement your payroll policies for absentee and tardy reporting, it has to have some idea of when the employee is supposed to work. Schedules are used to ensure accurate exception reporting. Employee schedules may be created with a different start and stop time for each day of the week, or automatic schedules can be assigned for cyclical, recurring start times.
Stromberg’s Time-Off Request feature allows employees to add, modify, and cancel formal requests for specific units of time away from work. Supervisors, in turn, are able to view and either approve or decline employee requests.
Most customers prefer their time and attendance systems to interface directly with payroll, human resources, and/or enterprise resource planning software (ERP) program or service. Stromberg’s Payroll Interface system is designed to meet this need by providing a simple method for transferring data to and from your payroll program or processing service bureau. Unlike most time and attendance companies, Stromberg develops its own payroll interfaces instead of relying on a third-party vendor. Stromberg payroll interfaces are comprehensive and robust, transferring data to every field your package can accept, including hours worked, overtime, department, holidays, sick time, and vacation. In addition, simple configuration menus provide quick setup or change of configuration necessitated by payroll policy changes.
