HCPS has selected Stromberg, a Paychex Company, to automate its time and attendance process for 25,000 permanent employees at 250 work sites
Lake Mary, FL. - July 10, 2008 - Stromberg, a subsidiary of Paychex, Inc. (NASDAQ:PAYX) and a leading provider of workforce management solutions for mid- to large-sized businesses, today announced that Hillsborough County Public Schools (HCPS) has selected Stromberg, a Paychex Company, to automate its time and attendance process for 25,000 permanent employees at 250 work sites. Stromberg's enterprise workforce management system will help Hillsborough County Public Schools standardize its pay policies to improve accuracy and reduce administrative costs.
HCPS is currently using a manual process to calculate the time and attendance for its employees. HCPS chose Stromberg because of its successful track record implementing multi-site organizations and because of its financial stability, which allows for a long-term partnership. One of the major challenges government finance officers and CIOs face is the need for additional funding for upgrades and training from the legislative body, council and/or board. With Stromberg's "software for life" business model, HCPS can be sure that no additional funding will be needed for upgrades.
"Hillsborough County Public Schools was looking for a time and attendance solution to help standardize our timekeeping processes district wide, and to make timekeeping activities at schools and district sites more efficient, with less manual effort," said Dallas D. Cooper, General Manager of Business Process Improvement for the Business Division of HCPS. "Stromberg's solution gives the district the necessary tools to enable our staff to accurately track time for more than 25,000 employees. We are excited to be partnering with Stromberg and look forward to working with their team."
We are pleased that HCPS chose Stromberg to automate the district's workforce management processes," says Ian Sexton, president of Stromberg. "With Stromberg Enterprise they'll not only be able to improve the district's time and attendance processes, but they will also see an increase in employee satisfaction."
